“Rescue Dawn” is a harrowing and intense look into the true story of US fighter pilot Dieter Dengler and his fight for survival in the Vietnam jungle. And on the 7th April, 2008 this critically acclaimed hit is yours to own on DVD courtesy of Pathe Distribution Ltd.
Ten years ago the illustrious filmmaker Werner Herzog made the documentary, "Little Dieter Needs To Fly". Now, using that film as his base, he has fashioned those true events into a riveting drama, detailing an incredible tale of survival against all the odds. Christian Bale gives a performance of extreme physical commitment to play a German-born American pilot involved in secret bombing missions over Laos in the 1960s. Captured by the Viet Cong, he goes to hell and back in his obsessive determination to escape.
