can we tell whether our daughter has had mumps..?

we have been giving our daughter the single vaccines but in between she may have caught mumps. so rather than give her a jab of it i wonder what is the easiest way to find out whether she has already had it to see if she is immune to it now. would a blood test be the only way? thanks in advance.
