Ooh you've included Cambridge. I'm not sure CB1 is the best postcode as it includes the central commercial areas as well as a little village on the outskirts of town, bizarrely. I'd say CB2-CB5 are more residential.
Anyway, the available-to-stc figures are astounding, for all the areas. 1.5% of stock at most, that surely can't be normal?0 -

IIRC, on average 10% of the housing stock in the UK changes hands and it takes 8 weeks to agree a sale.
10% x 8 / 52 = 1.5%. A back-of-envelope calculation suggests that is right.0 -
