    I struggle with a very similar problem!

    Anyway, the available-to-stc figures are astounding, for all the areas. 1.5% of stock at most, that surely can't be normal?

    one thing I've noticed in the past few months, is that there's very few 'increases' now, even the kite flyers have given up.

    Anyway, the available-to-stc figures are astounding, for all the areas. 1.5% of stock at most, that surely can't be normal?

    IIRC, on average 10% of the housing stock in the UK changes hands and it takes 8 weeks to agree a sale.

    10% x 8 / 52 = 1.5%. A back-of-envelope calculation suggests that is right.
