Brabantia’s stainless steel, easy-to-operate flame lighter makes lighting the ‘barbie’ quick and safe. Costing from around £9, these lighters save you having to search for the matches!

For the budding chef, Brabantia has two particularly useful items from its Profile Line designed to make turning the sausages hassle-free. Recently introduced, heat-resistant (to 280º C) silicone kitchen tongs are perfect for cooking indoors or out, while the meat fork features sharpened tips to make it easy to grip the meat. The kitchen tongs cost around £13 and the meat fork about £7.
