1. NAME OF COMPETITION: “Win £1000!”


2. COMPETITION QUESTION: This cheeky northern comedian (pictured right) features in the new series of QI. What is his name?

3. PRIZE:

There will be 1 prize winner. The prize shall consist of one cheque for £1000 (one thousand pounds sterling).


4. SPECIFIC RESTRICTIONS:

All entrants must be over 18 years of age at the date of entry and resident in the UK.

The prize will be in the form of a cheque only and you will therefore need to be a UK bank account holder.

All entrants using red button, phone, SMS or web means of entry must have the bill payer’s permission prior to entering.


5. COMPETITION PERIOD:

The Competition will be open between Monday 07 April 2008 06:00 and Sunday 20 April 2008 23:59. All postal entries must be received by Friday 25 April 2008 12:00.

Any entries received outside of the Competition Period (for whatever reason) will be invalid but you may still be charged for the entry where costs apply.

6. WINNER SELECTION:

The Prize winner will be the first correct entry to be selected at random after the end of the Competition Period from all correct and eligible entries received.

The Prize winner must claim the prize by successfully responding to the Promoter’s notification within 21 days of the Promoter’s first notification being sent.

7. METHOD OF ENTRY & COST:

You can enter by:

Digital satellite viewers may enter the Competition at a cost of £1.00 (one pound) by pressing the red button on their remote controls while watching the UKTV Style, UKTV Style+1, UKTV Documentary, UKTV Documentary+1, UKTV Gold, UKTV Gold+1, UKTV History, UKTV History+1, Dave, Dave+1, UKTV Drama, UKTV Drama+1, UKTV Gardens, UKTV Food, UKTV Food +1 and UKTV People television channels during the Competition Period.

THE MAXIMUM LIKELY COST OF ENTRY IS AS FOLLOWS: £1.00 (one pound).
