Win Family Tickets to Leeds Castle Jousting Tournament

02/04/2008

Experience the thrill of knights on horseback and men at arms when Leeds Castle near Maidstone in Kent recreates the sights and sounds of a genuine medieval jousting tournament against the historic backdrop of the 900-year old castle.
This year's Jousting Tournament takes place from 27th May – 1st June. The non-stop action features galloping horses, daredevil stunts, falls and fights in an authentic jousting arena complete with a royal box on the Cedar Lawn. Staged by Europe's premier jousting company, The Knights of Royal England, there's an opportunity for visitors to meet the knights and their horses before each tournament.
Children can take part in their own medieval adventure in the exciting Knights' Realm Playground based on a scale model of the castle. Built entirely in wood, young visitors get to climb the Maiden's Tower, scale the revetment wall, joust along aerial runways, follow the heraldry trail and cross the perilous bridge between the castle and the Gloriette.
Our friends at Leeds Castle have given us five one day family tickets (2 Adults & 3 Children) for our readers.
