About the book

Where did the river go? is a limited edition storybook commissioned by learndirect for children aged between 5-9. There are only 100,000 available, and we’re giving them away free, so you will have to be quick to get your hands on a copy.
The book was written by Peter Corey, who has written numerous books, TV shows and plays. If you were to meet him, you might also recognise him from TV programmes such as One Foot in the Grave and The Bill.
All illustrations are by Charlotte Firmin, and the book is supported by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford.



To get your free copyof the storybook ‘Where did the river go?’ please just take a minute to register your details. Please choose a password with five or more characters. You’ll then be able to print out a voucher.
If you don’t have an email address or access to a printer, don’t worry. You can just go along to your nearest participating learndirect centre and complete the registration there.
