The thunder of hooves, the aroma of freshly cut grass, the buzz of excitement and the soft pop of champagne corks, it must mean one thing – the start of Royal Ascot!
Ascot Racecourse has teamed up with woman&home to offer one lucky person the chance to win lunch in the Bessborough Restaurant on Saturday 21st June.
The winner and a guest will start off their day watching a stylish fashion show over a leisurely five course luncheon with fine wines. The Bessborough catwalk showcases the very latest male and female couture and amongst the line-up of top fashion names will be iconic British designer Vivienne Westwood.
Following the arrival of Her Majesty The Queen and senior members of the Royal Family in a procession of open top landaus at 2.00pm, the racing action commences at 2.30pm until 5.30pm.
You will also be treated to a traditional afternoon cream tea with strawberries and cream and a complimentary bar throughout the day, including champagne.
The combination of horseracing and fine dining is not only a thrilling partnership, but perfectly timed to ensure a relaxed and leisurely programme.
Only one entry per person
Winners will be picked at random after 16th May 2008
