NewcastleGateshead will become a food lover’s haven this May as it celebrates the arrival of the annual EAT! NewcastleGateshead - a festival of food and drink.
Running from May 2nd-22nd the impressive line up will showcase NewcastleGateshead’s cooking passions and the culinary expertise which the city and surrounding North East region has to offer. Featured events will include a restaurant situated in complete darkness, restaurants in secret locations, three special themed food producer markets, demonstrations by local cooking heroes, fishmongers and chefs and much more.
To launch EAT! NewcastleGateshead we have a special meal for two at the ‘Spring to Life’ dinner event to give away. The winner will be treated to a menu of local meat, seafood and spring-time ingredients plus a tutored tasting of world famous Cloudy Bay wines.
Our winner will enjoy a luxurious stay at greystreethotel. This Grade 2 listed building is fused with contemporary style and is at the heart of Newcastle’s art and cultural renaissance. For further details visit www.nichehotels.com
