We can already hear your groans, ‘oh no, not another game based on the TV series’. Surprisingly however it’s actually very good.
Just as soon as we popped in the disc it captured our attention. There’s no HUD, which some may not like, but we thought it just really captured the fact that you are playing what is essentially a TV programme.
The game follows the story of the TV series very closely, starting as you would expect with the crash of Oceanic flight 815 on this mysterious island. You play as a character suffering from amnesia, not seen in the TV series, developing a parallel plot.
After time your true identity comes to light through playable flashbacks, you find yourself proving to the other survivors that you aren’t one of the Others.
The graphics in this game are superb with all the favourite characters very recognisable, even from a distance. One of our criticisms of this game is that the checkpoints aren’t always close to the toughest parts of the ‘episode’, so you may have to re-do parts over and over again.
Other than that the game is excellent.
