If knowing that spring is just around the corner leaves you bursting to step out into the fresh air and work on your fitness, then iWalking could be just what you are waiting for.
iWalk is a unique outdoor members' fitness club combining all the best bits of the gym and outdoor circuit training with fitness resistance (Nordic) walking and running so it's a great way to tone up.
There are more than 10 regular weekly classes all year round in the breathtaking surroundings of Richmond Park, Bushy Park and Wimbledon Common and every session is an action-packed mini-adventure.
Using lightweight poles to work at a high intensity, iWalking offers a challenging workout for the entire body and has been described as combining the exhilaration of alpine skiing, the fitness challenges of rowing with the social networking of tennis.
Nordic walking began in Finland as the summer training method for cross-country skiers, who are recognised as among the world's fittest athletes.
It works 90 per cent of your muscles (running only works 35 per cent and swimming 70 per cent) and burns up to 46 per cent more calories than regular walking.
The poles also reduce stress on your knees and other joints, making it a low-impact sport.

ha ha!
I was just about to say that I'd PM you to merge you with yourself, when I realised that your other post, here, was not a dupe!!
I then realised that the other comp is closed, and that the answer is also different, even though the comp prize is the same!
D'ya think that they have extended the comp and changed the answer?
Almost got me, that did!
