Not strictly Old Style I know but ages ago Galtizz said I could specifically let you guys know when the big event finally happenend.....
Spud, or George Henry Michael to give him his proper name, finally arrived one week late on Monday
8th August at 6.05pm, weighing in at a hefty 9lbs 4ozs and with a 38 cm
circumfernce head! Suffice to say, being somewhat on the small side myself, despite a relatively good labour with old style gas & air followded by a blessed old style epidural (I gave in after 13 hours of 3 minute contractions! Labour was a total of 19 hours 59 mins) he needed a bit of
help to make his eventual appearence and we had a theater assisted vontuse delivery. We are now back at home & he is very well, thankfully has not inherited my nose but has got my bent fingers!
Thanks to everyone for all your help, support, suggestions & kind wishes over the last nine months.....here's to the next 20 years!!
