How long does it take to pour the perfect pint of Guinness?
119.5 seconds
St Patrick’s Day fast approaches, the hunt for the best night’s craic begins, and with 2008 presenting fans of GUINNESS® with a choice of celebrations across the whole weekend the need to plan ahead is all the more apparent.
There are over 29,000 pubs nationwide celebrating St Patrick’s Day with Guinness, and with the use of GPS technology Guinness’ new interactive mobile “Pub Finder” will allow revellers to find their nearest St Pat’s Pub with ease. Once there, you can also take the opportunity to win a year’s supply of Guinness to share with your mates by trying your hand at a series of quiz games. Test your Music, Sport, Film and General Knowledge during the 119.5 seconds you wait to receive your perfect pint of the Black Stuff.
Finally, the service will give you access to a wealth of St Pat’s facts and traditional Irish slang, along with the opportunity to upload your festive St Pat’s photos to the site - the best of which will be used to create a new Guinness advert.
To download the Guinness Pub Finder text CHEERS to 81703. Standard text charges apply. To access the site and enter the quiz entrants must be aged 18 or over.
To celebrate the launch of Guinness’ new mobile service and say cheers to St Pat’s weekend, we’re giving you the chance to win one of two cases of Guinness to share with your mates.
