Its a bit pricier to begin with but I strongly recommens asny of the LUSH solid shampoo bars. Mine last 4 - 5 months using it every day. Not bad for about £5. Plus my hair looks greeat AND I don't feel so guilty about landfill (no plastic bottles going in the bin). Look on their website, but don't blame me if you get hooked!0

I have in the past mixed and matched shampoo, I've a big supermarket own brand bottle and used that for a few washes and then used a 'better' named one for a couple of washes.
I now buy Tresemm!, I get the 900ml bottles, I stock up when they are on BOGOF in either Boots or Superdug and I find that even with me and DD using it, it lasts for ages. You don't need much and my hair seems to be in good condition and i don't use a conditioner and only give it one wash.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -

I buy an Australian brand called Fruits (when I can get it from the supermarket) a large shampoo costs 99p as does the conditioner. I swear by it, cheap, organic and fruity.Semper in faeces profundum variat

I use the pink L'Oreal Elvive- I always buy it when it's on BOGOF so it works out quite cheap (about £2 for two), but nothing else seems to leave my hair so shiny (even much more expensive shampoos).:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator
