Earlier this month The Dog bound into Woolworths in Bexleyheath for a special half-term promotion.

The Dog is a range of popular puppy photographs that originated in Japan. The heart-tugging collection consists of more than 70 breeds of puppies and over 100,000 pictures photographed at unique angles to create adorably enhanced images.

Children can now get their paws on their very own The Dog stationery, bedding, soft toys, books and many other items.

Visitors to Woolworths during half-term were greeted by The Dog costume characters and were invited to participate in special in-store events and giveaways.

The week culminated in a photo call on Sunday during which Katie Sumpton, aged three, was announced the first prize winner of the fantastic The Dog bedroom makeover plus giant The Dog soft toy.

Runner-up Amy Murphy, aged nine, won a giant cuddly The Dog plush toy.

McDonald's continues the fun with its The Dog Happy Meal promotion until March 11, featuring 10 breeds of plush puppies to collect. Visitors to McDonald's in Bexleyheath can pick up The Dog branded balloons, colouring sheets, dog masks and of course an adorable mini plush puppy with every Happy Meal purchase.

The Dog also supports the People's Dispensary for Sick Animals (PDSA), Britain's leading veterinary charity, which provides free veterinary services for the sick and injured pets of people in need.

A portion of the proceeds from sales of The Dog merchandise will be contributed to this charity.

You can now get your paws on some The Dog goodies of your own.
