Yea, we know it always is, but on this occasion there's a bit of focus to our superiority. The City of Manchester Stadium will host the UEFA Cup Final 2008. Lovely. And as there aren't any Manchester teams involved we can go along as football connoisseurs and impartially view all the clever trickery on the pitch. Or maybe you're a closet Spurs fan, or favour the Toffees, or the Wanderers – after all the latter are mere hop, skip and jump up the motorway?
For the record the trophy has been won by English clubs, Tottenham, Liverpool and Ipswich. Italian clubs have appeared in the final more than any other, English clubs have won it six times.
