From what I can see on imdb he was nominated for 8 + 1 honorary oscar which he at first declined but later accepted. It's a bit confusing - anyone found anything more specific?0

I think then that the answer is 7 as he wasn't nominated for the honourary award, it was bestowed upon him, so 8 nominations - 1 nearly declined = 7. Do you reckon?0
