Terms and Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions below carefully, then check the box/click on the link below to indicate that you agree to the terms and conditions. It is agreed that:

1. By entering a competition on the ABM website, entrants agree to be bound by these competition rules.
   
2. ABM reserves the right to amend these competition rules at any time without prior notice. Any change to the competition rules will be displayed on the ABM website.
   
3. ABM reserves the right to cancel or amend a competition at any time, without prior notice.
   
4. ABM reserves the right to disqualify entrants for any breach of these competition rules. ABM’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
   
5. All competitions on the ABM website will be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
   
6. Entrants may on occasion receive information on ABM and the Red Tractor Logo . Entrants can opt not to receive this by ticking the relevant box on the entry form.
   
   Entries
   
7. Entrants under the age of 18 years must obtain the permission of their parent or guardian to enter the competition.
   
8. Competitions on the ABM Website are open to the UK residents only.
   
9. Employees of ABM, AFS and Certification Bodies are not permitted to enter the competition.
   
   Competition Entries
   
10. Only one entry is permitted per person.
    
11. Entries must include all of the information and material specified. Incomplete entries may be rejected.
    
12. Entries will only be accepted if submitted via the on-line system.
    
13. There is no purchase necessary to enter a competition, and no charge for entering a competition via the ABM website, although entrants will be responsible for the cost of their internet access.
    
14. ABM accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation of transmission, theft, destruction, alteration of, entries or unauthorised access to entries, or for entries that are lost or delayed.
    
15. Unless a competition specifically states otherwise, no entries will be returned.
    
16. All entries must be received by midnight on the 30th May 2008. Late entries will not be accepted.
    
    Prizes
    
17. The 1st Prize balloon ride will be confirmed with the winner once selected, to agree a suitable location. The prize is for 2, however the ride will not be exclusive to the winners. This will be a commercial flight and there may be others not connected with the competition on board as well.
    
18. The 2nd prize vouchers are for accommodation through Farm Stay UK. Farm Stay's nationwide network consists of well over 1200 rural retreats. More information on the type of accommodation available can be found by going to www.farmstayuk.co.uk
    
19. The 3rd prize case of Red Tractor Farmer's Harvest Beer consist of 20 (500ml) bottles. Farmers Harvest has been specially brewed to celebrate the Centenery year of the National Farmers Union and is unique in being the first alcoholic beverage to carry the Red Tractor assurance mark.
    
20. Winners will be selected at random on the 5th June 2008. ABM’s decision will be final. Winners will be informed within 28 days of the close of the competition.
    
21. Return of any prize notification as undeliverable or failure to respond to a prize notification as specified in the notice will result in an alternative winner being selected.
    
22. If more than one prize is available, not more than one prize will be awarded per entrant.
    
23. Prizes are non-transferable and, unless a competition specifically states otherwise, no alternative prize will be available. ABM reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value at any time.

25. All taxes, transfers, insurance and other expenses shall be the responsibility of the competition winner unless a competition specifically states otherwise.
    
    Intellectual property rights
    
26. In consideration for ABM considering entrants to the competition, the entrant hereby assigns any intellectual property rights and other rights in respect of their entry to ABM and Massey Ferguson for the full period of copyright. ABM and Massey Ferguson will use material as it sees fit, and reserves the right to assign the rights to a third party.
    
27. The Winners will be required to participate in publicity opportunities when receiving their prizes and other subsequent opportunities as they arise subject to agreement.
    
    Liability
    
28. ABM does not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any prize. ABM is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, or failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any material in the Competition.
    
    Data Protection
    
29. Entries will be retained for a period of 12 months after the competition closes.
    
30. The name of the competition winner and the county in which they live will be published on the ABM website and used in publicity opportunities. These details can also be obtained by sending a stamped, self-addressed, envelope to Competition Winner, ABM, PO Box 5273, Milton Keynes, MK6 1HL.
