Win Hairspray tickets plus an amazing overnight stay courtesy of Silvikrin
It's time to let your hair down and dance the night away! Hairspray, Broadway's hit musical comedy, is now showing in London's West End.
Stars of the hit comedy musical have been transformed into starlets with glittering 'skyscraper' hair creations from the 60s with the help of Silvikrin, the official hairspray to the show.
To celebrate this hair-raising partnership we have stacks of Hairspray goodies to giveaway. One lucky person will win an overnight stay at the Thistle Piccadilly Hotel, a pair of tickets to Hairspray, plus travel to and from London.
Plus, seven runners-up will receive tickets to Hairspray.
In Hairspray it's 1962 – the 50's are out and change is in the air. Balitmore's Tracey Turnblad, a big girl with big hair and an even bigger heart, has only one passion – to dance.
She wins a spot on the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show and, overnight is transformed from outsider to irrepressible teen celebrity.
Big hair is enjoying a revival in the West End with Hairspray the musical showcasing some of the best styles around.
Big hair is back with styles inspired from the 40s, 50s and 60s and it's easy to update classic looks with a modern twist for 21st century hair.
Glamorous hair has become a must when it comes to the red carpet and the bigger the better, with celebrities hankering after backcombed beehives and big bouncy curls.
Catwalk shows by McQueen and Pucci showcased bold and daring looks with futuristic bouffants and backcombing stating big hair is back to stay.
Whatever the occasion these big retro hair trends are set to continue well into 2008
