Sign up for clubcard straight away! As long as you spend over £1, a coupon prints up saying "welcome to clubcard" and a bonus 100 point coupon on your next shop for free!
Anyone else know how to get bonus/extra points?

Sounds interesting, though Im sure they wont be too pleased
I guess this means you can use any clubcard vouchers with any card including the mailed ones ? Ive got a clubcard, a clubcard + and a tesco credit card, so I'd like to use all my vouchers when using my clubcard +...

Its kind of like a cross between a savings card and a current account - you load money into it and use it to buy stuff at Tescos and it gives you double points0 -

I've used granddads new card twice now and got no bonus points at the till, should I have used the cardboard one first?

yes, if you pick up a brand new cardboard one, the very first time its scanned, as long as you spend £1 or more (to qualify for a clubcard point) the coupon prints up! It only works the first time its scanned as they only "Welcome" you once!0 -
I have been doing this for a couple of weeks now.
You get the application form with the cardboard card attached.
As previously said use once on a small sale, say a magazine or whatever for over a pound, and you get a coupon for 100 points (worth 4 quid in deals)
use 100 points coupons at till with your main shop as you dont want to lose out on the points from your main shop.
Pick up a bunch of these each time you shop,as when you have used the new cardboard card once you then discard it.
And start again.

so does this mean that you can use the 100 extra points on your normal card ?
or do it go on the new clubcard that just been opened ?0 -
I am now hitting my head against the wall, wish I'd cottoned onto this earlier. Anyway I got an extra 200 points tonight.
I put these with my main shop, can I put more than one 100 points on each shop, will the system take more than one?
It would be very useful to have several children going through the basket tills all with about £1 of shopping and a cardboard card. LOL
I am not sure wether I can throw the cards away, they all have 1 point on them!

I'm sure you can use more than one but be careful! if you hand over 5 "welcome to clubcard" it might arouse suspicion!
Also, its up to you what you do with the cardboard ones. You could phone clubcard and ask them to put the points on but again, it might look a bit odd if each one has only got 1 point on it!0
