Soup is the nation’s number one starter with 38.2 million servings of soup being consumed on an annual basis (1). However, soup has begun to lose its menu appeal in recent years (2) as it faces increasingly stiff competition from more exotic starter options, resulting in chefs missing out on the very real and lucrative profit that soup has to offer.

We want to see how you 'sex up' your soup offering for consumers – it could be an unusual variety, creative topping, use of locally sourced ingredients or quirky presentation.
The winner, the finalist with the sexiest and tastiest soup, will be rewarded with a fantastic prize of £1,000, a KNORR product hamper and two select All-Clad pans that offer an unparalleled cooking surface, therefore perfect for creating soups.

Sorry, but you might need to change your title box:
Unfortunately small print says, "Open to UK chefs employed by pubs, restaurants or hotels", and there's a line for the Manager's signature. Lets me out, I'm afraid.
