Wannabe spies will be sneaking out to the shops to pick up the highly-classified adventures of the teenage secret agents of M.I.High when The Sinister Prime Minister and Other Adventures, five explosive episodes of series one of the kids spy drama, is released on DVD on Monday 21st January (Contender Entertainment, RRP £12.99). </STRAPLINE>

The DVD of M.I.High release follows the huge success of the series, on BBC One and the CBBC channel early in 2007 which became one of CBBC’s highest rating shows of the year.
With threats to British national security at an all-time high, the old style spies have had their day and high–ranking MI9 agent, Lenny Bicknall must find secure and untraceable identities for his officers.
His solution is to establish a ring of undercover agents in a place the enemy will never suspect – an inner city high school. St Hope’s may look like an ordinary comprehensive, but its unconventional pupils and ineffective staff are oblivious to a big secret. For deep underneath the school lies the secret headquarters of M.I. High – M.I.9’s division of highly trained teen spies.
Newcomers Bel Powley, Moustafa Palazli and Rachel Petladwala star as Daisy, Blane and Rose, young spies who juggle school work with saving the world from the villainous Grand Master and his mob of outlandish rogues. Socialite Daisy is chosen for her chameleon-like skills, while scientific expert Rose has an IQ off the scale. Enigmatic Blane is unsurpassed in his athletic prowess and rapid response abilities.
The DVD features five espionage-filled episodes. From cheesy-pop loving zombies and a disgraced weather girl with a meteorological manipulation machine to a mad inventor with a range of spy animals and a battle-hungry general with a wish for a world war, our young spies need all their wits about them to keep the baddies at bay. But with the pressures of such a responsible job and the danger of discovery at school, will the spy team be able to protect Britain and still hand their homework in on time?
