The Times P37 - Coupon for 50p off Cafe direct instant coffee valid to 20/4.

    Hello all ...

A polite request to all those on the newspaper thread ...

It is concerning the CafeDirect coupons in the papers at the mo ...

I am more than happy to use coupons without buying the product ... (more than happy may indeed be an understatement ... :rotfl:) ... as most companies that give out these coupons are huge multinationals ... but I would like to you to consider these are form a Fairtrade company and they are being issued to encourage greater purchase of Fairtrade items which benefit individual workers

... and dare I plead that you would actually buy and try the coffee if you have not already ... :o

There are currently offers circulating at Tescolditz and Sainsbugs on this coffee ... I bought some last week from Sainsbury's and used there 50p off coupon from their magazine plus I bought a weeks worth of banana's ... (All Sainsbugs banana's are Fairtrade even the Basic's ones)... and qualified for a Free Fairtrade gift ... they offer free Tea Towels/Shopping Bags/Oven Gloves etc (normal price£1.50) when you spend £5 on Fairtrade! ...
At Telcolditz this week I received two different till-spits for 60 points each on CafeDirect products which I combined with my Daily Mail couponog from yesterday on a jar of instant coffee for just £2.10 ...

    http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/ps121206.htm
    http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/ps101007.htm

We have been drinking the CafeDirect coffee for 5 years plus and it is lovely coffee ... Please do consider that what we likely get off in lovely couponogs per shop ... would likely feed a third-world coffee labourer for months ...

I will get down off my little soap-box and slope away quietly ...

    Kind Regards

    LittleBill .. :^)
