I had to laugh the other week. We've just moved and found a Lidl right near us that had avocados for 10p each as they were hard... so we bought them up, as you do, as they are usually really expensive yet really tasty...
..one by one they became soft and we ended up having one with lunch every day...
...so when we went to the toddler group for the first time, and they asked her what she wanted for lunch and she said avocado... they looked at us as if we thought we were royalty or something.....
*chuckle*:j A-well-a bird, bird, bird...b-bird's the word :j0 -

My children alledgedly left the nest but ...... I am still doing the swan thing. Keeping a job, trying to help them out of their problems, drying their tears- I see now why my mum said don't do it.
There are so many pressures today - to keep up with yummies, dressing the children in latest fashion items ...... the list just goes on.
There are good times and I feel sure that one day (it may well last just the one) everything will sort itself out.
But onwards and upwards fellow mums - our day next week[STRIKE]Fed up of being kippered by kids - new resolve - the NO word. Still at this[/STRIKE] Dam they struck again!!
Stay focused on the bigger plan - :rolleyes:0 -
