All you need to do is create a very short story, around 150 words long, using Kipper and his friends as the main characters. Your Kipper story can be about you and your little one, or a brand new Kipper adventure, the key is to be imaginative! Why not get your child involved too by getting them to help you think of a story? What's more, Fairy will award the author of the winning story a holiday of a lifetime for the whole family worth £5,000 as well as having their story made into a personalised Kipper memento to treasure forever.
Author of the Kipper books, Mick Inkpen has some advice for any budding writer to get you going:
"I try not to write down to children. We've all been kids so the trick is to entertain the child in yourself. That way there's a very good chance you'll catch their attention too".

We know how busy parents are, so your Kipper story only needs to be really short, around 150 words. Below, we have provided a simple entry form, so all you need to do is type your story in the box below along with your name and address details.
A selection of the best Kipper stories will be chosen by our panel of judges: Kipper author, Mick Inkpen, Children's Literature Expert, Wendy Cooling and Editor of Mother & Baby Magazine, Elena Dalrymple. The finalists will be displayed on the website from June and you will have the chance to vote for your favourite!
