The competition runs for a month from 18 February - 17 March and is open to UK residents up to the age of 30.

A panel of judges will select the three winning entries.
About Take it away

Take it away was launched by the Arts Council in July 2007 to help encourage more people to get involved with learning and playing music by providing an interest free loan for the purchase of musical instruments.

Take it away terms and conditions

1. This competition is run by Enterprise Insight in association with Arts Council England and ArtCo Trading Ltd
2. Entry to the competition is open to UK residents only who are under the age of 30 years on or before the closing date of Monday 17 March 2008
3. The competition is not open to employees, agents, contractors or consultants of Enterprise Insight, employees of Arts Council England or anyone professionally connected with the competition
4. Entrants must complete all parts of the entry form in order to eligible
5. All entries must be received by the closing date of 6.00pm on Monday 17 March 2008
6. Postal entries will be accepted and should be sent to: Take it away competition, Make Your Mark in Music, Enterprise Insight, 6 Mercer Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9QA
7. Three prize winners will be chosen by the Judging Panel from a short list of entries selected by Enterprise Insight and Arts Council England
8. Short listed entrants may be required to provide proof of ID in order to verify eligibility
9. Winners will be selected on Thursday 20 March 2008
10. Winners will be notified by telephone or email within 7 days of the competition closing date
11. Enterprise Insight is not responsible for incorrect e-mail, telephone numbers or postal addresses or for problems with entries caused by any factors outside our control
12. Each prize winner will be presented with a voucher for £1,000 (one thousand pounds) which can be redeemed against the purchase of musical instruments and associated equipment supplied by any shop based in the UK
13. The prize money and vouchers will be supplied by ArtCo Trading Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arts Council England. Registered address: Arts Council England, North East, Central Square, Forth Street, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3PJ
14. Winners may choose to use the prize money for the purchase goods from more than one supplier subject to prior arrangement with ArtCo Trading Ltd

16. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash or other alternatives are available
