It stars Ken McCluskey on guitar and !!!!!! Massey on percussion and alongside several other musicians they will be recreating the energy and excitement of the film which told the rags-to-riches story of a group who fall just short of stardom, mainly due to inter-band bickering.
Their manager influences and directs the Commitments' soul sound and the result is a joy for lovers of soul music.
Classics including Mustang Sally, Try A Little Tenderness, Take Me To The River, In The Midnight Hour and Chain of Fools will be performed with energy and passion.
Other performers from the film will also make appearances on stage, most notably on piano Michael Aherne who appeared in the film as Steven Soul Surgeon' Clifford.
The Andover Advertiser has teamed up with The Lights to offer four lucky readers a pair of tickets to this standing gig.
