Q1: In the latest podcast, Mark Goodier talks about Karen Carpenter... what instrument does he say she was accomplished at playing?
Answer - Drum (She played drums but I havent listened to the podcast)
This is very similar to this comp but I really don't think it is the same, as I've just received this on a newletter this afternoon.
This Day in Music are giving you the chance to get your hand on 1 of 3 iPod Shuffles + the Liverpool Number Ones album to listen to on your shuffle.
Liverpool is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as being the Capital of Pop because more artists with a Liverpool origin have had a number one hit than from any other location in the world.
Bringing together some of the best loved Liverpudlian artists recording some of the most famous Liverpudlian songs of all time, the physical album features 21 number one singles, with the digital version including an extra 7 number one recordings.
Artists include: Atomic Kitten, The Farm, Ian McNabb, Thea Gilmore, OMD, The Scaffold, The Real Thing, Shack, Sonia, Elvis Costello, Frankie Goes to Hollywood’s Nasher feat. Connie Lush, China Crisis and more!
This comp started on Feb 4th 2008 and will close on Feb 29th. TDIM will pick the winners at random.
