Laura Marling is widely recognized as one of the most exciting new musical talents in the UK thanks to the brilliance of her songwriting and her understated but arresting delivery. Hailing from London, Marling is a massive fan of American folk and has been regularly referred to as the ‘Berkshire Joni Mitchell’. This month she releases her debut album ‘Alas I Cannot Swim’, a collection of thirteen songs recorded with her live band.
The album will not come as your run of the mill CD case but as a Song Box containing a plethora of keepsakes and mementos for fans as well as the album itself. The limited edition box will also include an invitation to one of five gigs Marling is playing around the UK this spring.

Glasgow, Oran Mor – March 4
Birmingham, Glee Club – 5
London, Union Chapel – 6
Bristol, Trinity Arts Centre – 7
