thanks, but I'd rather not " simply buy any product on bid tv or price-drop tv" or buy anything from any TV show in the hope of wining a prize, but thanks anyway

To me its that little word "or" that makes the difference. I've entered anyway, nothing to lose by doing so. Its only an email ~ if I'm wrong, they'll delete it.
