After years of bachelorhood and constant pressure from his father, Doc (Stiller''s real-life father Jerry Stiller), Eddie starts to wonder if he is being too picky about the women he meets. So when a chance encounter with alluring blonde Lila leads to a sweet romance Eddie impulsively decides to get married. However, their heavenly honeymoon quickly descends to hell when the woman of his dreams turns out to be a total nightmare and the guy who could never pull the trigger realises he jumped the gun.
Soon after reaching their exotic Mexican hideaway, Eddie falls for girl-next-door Miranda (Michelle Monaghan - Mission: Impossible III, Mr. & Mrs Smith), who has no clue that he''s on his honeymoon. Now Eddie has to find a way to disentangle himself from his brief disastrous marriage without losing the girl of his dreams.
