you need to be registered with empire for this one
Just when you thought the humiliation of the school PE class was over, Mr Woodcock arrives on DVD from Entertainment In Video, to rent on January 21 and to buy on DVD and Blu-ray on January 28.
This outrageous comedy stars Seann William Scott (the American Pie films, The Dukes Of Hazzard) as a self-help author who is horrified to discovers that his beloved mother (Susan Sarandon, Thelma & Louise) is dating his childhood nemesis (Billy Bob Thornton, Bad Santa).
For John Farley, author of the national bestseller Letting Go: Getting Past Your Past, the painful memories of his childhood have since been replaced by the self confidence gained from becoming a successful writer and motivational speaker.
When a last-minute cancellation on his book tour gives him an unexpected day off, he decides to return home to surprise his mother, Beverly. John’s joy quickly turns to angst, however, when he discovers his mother has fallen in love with none other than Mr Woodcock – the gruff, no-nonsense gym teacher who put him through years of mental and physical humiliation.
Mortified and panic-stricken at the thought of his mother marrying the one man he truly despises, John enlists the help of his old school mate, Jay Nedderman (Ethan Suplee), in a last-ditch attempt to take down Mr Woodcock.
To celebrate the release of Mr Woodcock, we're giving you the chance to win one of five copies of the film, courtesy of Entertainment In Video.
