Terms and Conditions
1. PARTICIPANTS
You must be a UK resident to participate (including Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland). Participants under 18 years old may be asked for proof of consent of his/her legal guardian to claim any prize. Participants under the age of 16 in the UK must have the permission of a parent or legal guardian to enter.
2. HOW TO ENTER
Email your answer, name, address, and phone number to the email address listed. One entry per person only will be allowed.
3. DURATION
The closing date is 29 february 2008 at 5PM.
4. THE DRAW
All entries received will be collected together for one final draw to be held on 3 March 2008. The winner will be drawn at random with the correct answer and a valid telephone number on this date and will be awarded the prize in Section 5 'The Prize'. The judge's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
5. THE PRIZE
The first prize is a break to Washington DC which includes :
Four (4) nights' weekend hotel stays as described below
Two (2) adult admissions to the International Spy Museum
An exclusive tour for two (2) adults of the Library of Congress
Two (2) adult admissions to Madam Tussauds Wax Museum
Two (2) adult admissions to George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate & Gardens
Two (2) adult admissions for an open-top bus city tour
Official Visitors Guide and self-guided tour of Trails to Treasure locations featured in National Treasure: Book of Secrets
Packages are valid for travel between January 1, 2008 and January 1, 2009 (with certain blackout dates for each hotel, as described below).
Hotel stays do not include breakfast.
Flights to and from Washington DC are included.
Prize winner will be notified no later than 10 March 2008. All prizes are as stated, they are non-transferable and no alternatives will be offered. All prize details are accurate at the time of print. At least one of the prize winners must be over 18 years.
6. PROMOTER'S RIGHTS
Cineworld Cinemas Ltd. may extend any time limit or waive any of the Rules where a person might otherwise have been disqualified without obliging promoters to relax the Rules in any other case whatsoever (ii) terminate or suspend the promotion at any time due to supervening circumstances beyond promoters' control (iii) substitute a product deemed to be an appropriate replacement and of equal or greater value in the place of any prize.
7. RULES
All instructions, rules and conditions on any advertising or promotional materials relating to this promotion form part of these provisions, provided that in the event of any conflict or inconsistency these provisions shall prevail over all such other instructions, rules and conditions. A copy of these Rules can be obtained by sending a request along with a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: National Treasure Competition, Cineworld Cinemas Marketing Dept, Power Road Studios, Power Road, London, W4 5PY. Acceptance of these Rules is a condition of entry. These Rules are subject to interpretation under the law of England and Wales, and to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
8. EXCLUSION
The promotion is open to all UK residents except for the Employees of Cineworld, their immediate families, their agents or anyone else connected with the promotion.0 -
