Acorn will be releasing Fairy Tales as a double-DVD, priced £19.99, on 1st February 2008 - four classic fairy tales that have been transformed by Hat Trick Productions into modern, comedy dramas for BBC One - win DVDs!
Starring James Nesbitt, Denise Van Outen, Bernard Hill, Paul Nicholls, Maxine Peake, Lee Ingleby and Liz White, the classic tales are: Rapunzel, adapted by Ed Roe (Teachers, Smack The Pony); Cinderella, adapted by Richard Pinto and Anil Gupta (Goodness Gracious Me, The Kumars At No.42); The Emperor’s New Clothes adapted by Debbie Horsfield (Cutting It, True Dare Kiss); and Billy Goat Gruff adapted by Jeremy Dyson (The League Of Gentlemen, Funland).
