LIVE on DVD for the first time ever!
All the hits and more!
Filmed & recorded live at Bray studios in February 2007, Kiki Dee & collaborator Carmelo Luggeri deliver an exciting 20 track set including classic Kiki Dee numbers, stunning covers and new material that takes Kiki in a new direction.
Kiki Dee has travelled an incredible journey. As a sixteen year old from Bradford she travelled to London, served her apprenticeship, recorded a series of classic sixties records until at last, some ten years later, Kiki achieved her big break and became a superstar on both sides of the Atlantic.
Kiki Dee is a survivor, successfully beating breast cancer some years ago. Like many people in such circumstances, Kiki finally discovered who she is and what she wants for the rest of her life.
Most recently, Kiki has been working with guitarist, writer and producer Carmelo Luggeri. It?s a new direction and an inspiring journey along which they revisit former successes and international hits by way of new interpretation. More importantly, it?s a collaboration spawning a new collection of intelligent, well-crafted songs that delight new and old fans alike.
Tracks including:
Everybody Falls, Just Killing Time, One and Only Love, Salty Water, Nobody?s Child, Amen and Goodbye, Under the Night Sky, Oh Life, Until We Meet Again (Kiki/Carmelo), Don?t Go Breaking My Heart (A Orson/Carte Blanche), I?ve Got the Music In Me (Bias Boshell), Amoreuse (Veronique Sanson & Gary Osbourne), Learning to Fly (Tom Petty & Jeff Lynne), Running Up that Hill (Kate Bush), Digging in the Dirt (Peter Gabriel) , A Very Good Year (Ervin Drake), How Sweet it is to be Loved by You (Holland Dozier Holland), How Can you Mend a Broken Heart? (Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb)
