At Blooming Direct we love beautiful pictures of flowers! So we have decided to run a competition to give you an opportunity to share your pictures with us and each other.

The winner of the competition will receive their choice of our ‘Year of…’ products, worth up to £195 plus they will see their picture on the front cover of our 2009 calender. The next 11 runners up will also be included in the calender.
The 2nd place photographer will receive a £50 Blooming Direct gift voucher and 3rd place will receive a £25 Blooming Direct gift voucher.
The competition will be hosted on www.flickr.com and will start on 1st January 2008 and run until the 30th June 2008. Entry is free.
How to enter
=========
Photos for the competition are being stored on Flickr, a free photo storage and sharing site owned by Yahoo. You can submit photos by following these steps:
1. Visit the Blooming Direct Flickr page and sign up for a free Flickr account or login using your existing Yahoo account if you have one.
2. Visit the Blooming Direct Flickr page and join this group.
3. Upload photos to your account.
4. Go to the page of the photo(s) you want to submit to the competition.
5. Click the “Send to Group” button between the photo title and the photo.
6. Choose the “Blooming Direct Spring Competition” group and you’re done!

Terms and conditions

1. Entries must be received by 30th June 2008.
2. The winners will be selected within 14 days of the closing date and will be notified immediately. The winners are required to contact Blooming Direct to confirm acceptance of their prize within 21 days of notification. In the event of non-acceptance within the specified period, or if the person is not contactable, Blooming Direct reserves the right to reallocate the prize awarded to the next runner up.
3. By entering the competition, the winners consent to take part in any publicity accompanying or resulting from this promotion, and for his/her name and county to be used for publicity purposes by Blooming Direct in printed and/or online formats.
4. No purchase is necessary.
5. Up to a maximum of 10 photographs may be submitted per entrant. Only one photograph per entrant may be selected for a prize.
6. Entries to be submitted by uploading photos to Blooming Direct Spring Competition Flickr page or emailing photos to [EMAIL="photos@Bloomingdirect.com"]photos@Bloomingdirect.com[/EMAIL].
7. The prize draw is open to all residents of England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man and Channel Islands excluding employees of Blooming Direct and their immediate families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
8. The first prize consists of 1 membership to a Blooming Direct “Year Round…” club.
8 a) The winner will be contacted to confirm their choice of the “Year Round…” club membership.
8 b) The winner may select a different recipient of the “Year Round…” club membership.
9. The 2nd price consists of a £50 gift voucher. The gift voucher may be gifted by the winner to any other individual.
10. The 3rd price consists of a £25 gift voucher. The gift voucher may be gifted by the winner to any other individual.
11. No cash alternatives.
12. Open to adults aged 18+.
13. It is a condition of entry that the terms and conditions of the prize draw are accepted as final and that entrants agree to abide by the rules. No correspondence will be entered into.
14. Blooming Direct will not accept responsibility for loss of entries through technical fault, postal/transmission delays or incomplete, illegible or other damaged entries. Proof of entry is not automatically proof of receipt.
