I have a copy of the Hotline Mag in front of me and the competition is "Work out which cities the writers are referring to and which Virgin Trains' stations are spelt out in the pictures"

So therefore 01) should be Manchester and 02) London (ie the cities)

Hope you don't think I'm being too pedantic....

London euston is what i call it, but if it asks for the city would be london

Sorry for trying to be helpful. I agree let the fellow compers decide. I'll quote the full blurb in the magazine (and highlight the important bits)...

"Exercise your mind while you travel - work out which CITIES the writers below are referring to, and which VIRGIN TRAIN STATIONS are spelt out in the PICTURES Answer all five correctly and you could win two first class return tickets to any destination within the Virgin network"

Question 1 and 2 are quotes from writers (ie name the CITIES) and questions 3, 4 & 5 are pictures (ie name the VIRGIN TRAIN STATIONS)

I guess people can decide for themselves what answers to give.

i lived in manchester in uni days and there is more than one station in manchester, so if i was going back south id always go to what is manchester piccadilly, like wise id get off the train at euston.
so im going to go with what rick said it ties in with what i know. x toni
