A trouble maker comes to the rescue of a troubled town in comedy drama Irish Jam, available to buy and rent on DVD from 21st January 2008, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.
EDDIE GRIFFIN (Date Movie, Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo) plays a street smart fish-out-of-water in this Emerald Isle-set comedy of corruption and culture clash. Irish Jam also stars ANNA FRIEL (The Land Girls, Goal!) and KEVIN MCNALLY (Pirates Of The Caribbean, Life On Mars).
When duplicitous landowner Lord Hailstock (MCNALLY) tries to evict the townsfolk of Ballystock, the ingenious Irish folk fight back, using a poetry competition to defeat his schemes. However, when the competition''s winner, a black hustler from LA (GRIFFIN), comes to claim his prize, his arrival means Ballystock will never be the same place again.
