Competition closes on 12:00pm Wednesday 16th January 2008The Sea is the second production from the Theatre Royal Haymarket Season, directed by the acclaimed opera and theatre director Jonathan Kent, and is performed from January 17 to April 19.
Written by Edward Bond, The Sea is a fascinating blend of wild farce, high comedy, biting social satire and bleak poetic tragedy.
Set in the Edwardian world of 1907, a wild storm shakes a small East Anglian seaside village and sets off a series of events that changes the lives of all its residents.
Eileen Atkins, one of this country's greatest actresses, will lead the cast with David Haig.
