4 bottles of Budweiser free with voucher from Pitcher & Piano bars
15 Jan 2008
What's the deal?
High st. bar chain Pitcher & Piano has a promotion offering 4 free bottles of Budweiser to people that register on its website then print a voucher. You needn't buy anything to qualify, so this amounts to a £10+ worth freebie.
Limited Stocks: Go quick or it may not work
After some too-ing and fro-ing with the powers that be at Pitcher & Piano it has stated the promotion's due to end - both on the site; and potentially in the bars themselves. So if when you click Bud Promotion it's no longer there; then don't bother.
There is also a chance that you'll get the voucher and it won't be honoured; as terms & conditions says its 'while stocks last'. Therefore the sooner you take the voucher to Bud; the more likely it is to be honoured.
(Now of course this does the question "can a bar really run out of beer?" Though I presume it means the bars have limited stock set aside for the promotion!.)
How to get them
You need to register an account on the Pitcher & Piano site to get the voucher. Click through to the Account Registration page, and fill in the first form (ensuring you use a valid email address).
On the next page there are a few questions about you, but the important part's the checkbox below that says 'Yes get me involved! I would like 4 bottles of Budweiser next time I visit Pitcher & Piano!'. Make sure you tick it, or you'll get nowt for your troubles.
Now just wait for your voucher to be emailed through. If you don't get it instantly, don't fret; mine took a good few hours to arrive in my inbox.
Just got mine through. Might have to pop into town one night - get the bottles and bring them home (opened I know) - but I have two kids and no babysitters!
3 kids a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
The offer officially ends 29th February, but it's while stocks last, so it may close early.
It'll be interesting to see how they deal with the "while stocks last" bit - I mean it's Bud for goodness sake, hardly a beer that P&P are suddenly going to claim has run out???

Went to P&P this afternoon with some mates and presented the voucher, but the barman said he couldn't accept it as the red colour was streaky. I said that the quality of my printer had no bearing on the validity of the voucher (all the words were perfectly clear by the way, just the red bit was a little off).
He then claimed that the red bit was like that as someone had forwarded it to me (ie, that I was not the original recipient). I was thinking WTF to myself, but just politely reitterated that the coupon was emailed to me.
If he'd have said the promotion was not being continued then that would have been fine, but this stuff about the red colour being a little streaky was a bit silly!
He asked if I wanted the managers opinion so I said yes (BTW the bar was dead.....I wasn't making a scene!). He went off for a few minutes then came back and gave me my beer with a smile!
I felt sorry for him really, but he was very polite to me all the time.

Yup, it's over now, but they are still accepting the vouchers themselves apparently
