Got an HC2 form - how many eye tests?

Hi,
I have an HC2 form (somewhere) which enables me to claim free eye tests.
I had an eye test last June I think it was and was told that my eyes were on the borderline of precscription change. Anyhow, have had a nightmare week with my glasses this week. I thought I had bent them and that they were not sitting correctly on my head and I have had major headaches for the past 5 days (I get headaches regularly anyway); they do not appear to be bent on inspection but I do feel like I am looking seeing things more clearly with one eye at the moment (I am one of those with a non-dominant eye prescription).
I want to get a test done again and this will be at a different place to I usually go (geographic constraints); will I be able to claim abother free eye test even though I had a free one in June?

Hi,
The NHS will only fund an eye exam every 2 years unless there is good reason for one to be performed more frequently i.e. indicated by symptoms, family history of glaucoma, diabetes or history of frequent changes in prescription.
If you are getting headaches, you should definitely get another exam ASAP and it will be funded by the NHS.
Hope that helps.
