Competition Terms and Conditions
- The winner will be chosen by random selection.
- The comp closes at midnight on Feb 29 2008.
- We only accept one entry per person, if entrants submit more entries they will be disqualified.
- That the winner will receive notification of winning by March 31st 2008 by email and if they do not respond within 28 days to claim their prize an alternative winner will be randomly selected.
- By submitting an answer the entrant accepts: (a) the competition terms and conditions; and (b) the Channel 4 privacy policy.
- Entrants must be 18 or over.

tigtag02 - that's a bit impolite - there are often discussions on here about people who would much rather the threads only popped back up to the top if something significant has been posted, not just another Thanks (which is catered for by the Thanks button anyway). And if BabyGiant asked the question once, then it might stop another 50 threads from getting bumped up again for no reason. And Yes, that is my justification for this post too!
It doesn't bother me as I always sort by Thread Start Time - descending, so the threads don't jump around for me, but I always think it's odd to add Thanks when you've already thanked. In fact, I figured that the people who kept typing in Thanks were the people that DIDN'T get out enough:rotfl:
It never occurred to me that people were doing it just to get their post count increased - so thanks to Fat Jedi for that

I'm not sure why you've taken such exception to BabyGiant's post - the icon used is the "confused" one, not the irate one so I don't think Baby Giant was being rude ?
Also, I'm not sure what you mean about BG only asking irisrose? BG has asked the question of at least one other person here and there has also been posts about this on the Comps discussion board, so it's not just BG who is wondering why people do this.
Like I said, I've often wondered myself why people do it, and would have asked the question myself eventually.

The 2nd clicky (Read the switchover information by clicking this link) doesn't seem to be working, but you don't need it anyway as naso has indicated the correct answer is 75
