Terms & Conditions
1. Win a trip for two to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games as part of our free prize draw.
The free draw is only open to UK residents.
2. The prize draw is not open to employees of Scottish Widows and Lloyds TSB, their
immediate families, their agents and anyone else directly connected with the
competition.
3. All entries must be received by the closing date of 31/03/2008 and Scottish Widows
takes no responsibility for entries not received by then.
4. Any entry which is incomplete, illegible, late or otherwise does not comply with the
rules may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of Scottish Widows.
5. To enter the free prize draw you need to complete and submit the online entry form
appearing on the Scottish Widows website.
6. No financial commitment is required to enter the prize draw.
7. Only one entry per person is allowed.
8. The Beijing 2008 Olympic Games Prize must be taken from 16/08/2008 – 21/08/2008
and includes: two return air tickets (departure from London and a return from Beijing),
four nights bed and breakfast accommodation at the luxury 4 star Xin Hai Hotel,
greeting on arrival by a Sportsworld representative, return airport transfers to the Xin
Hai Hotel, welcome drinks on arrival at the hotel, £150 per person to cover 3 days of
lunch and dinner, one official ticket per person for three Beijing 2008 Olympic Games
events (1 event per day), one Olympic Games souvenir per person and access to the
Sportsworld Ltd information centre at the Xin Hai Hotel.
9. A Pre-Departure Information Pack will be supplied to each person before travel.
10. Sportsworld will provide each person with a single entry Chinese Visa.
11. The Prize does not include additional tours, guest incidentals and travel insurance
which must be purchased before travel.
12. The dates specified are not changeable and the winner must be available to travel on
those dates and must have a full UK passport valid for at least 6 months beyond the
date of departure from China.
13. The prize winner will need to comply with Sportsworld Group Ltd’s separate terms
and conditions which relate specifically to the ticket and tour package these can be
viewed at http://beijing2008.sportsworld.co.uk/public/terms_and_conditions.aspx
14. The draw will be held on 7/04/2008. There will be one prize winner chosen at random
from all eligible entries.
15. The winners will be notified in writing within 14 days after the draw.
16. The selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. Scottish Widows will send the prize by Royal Mail, unless otherwise specified in the
entry form, to the UK address of the winner within 14 days of the winner being notified
and his/her address being obtained.
18. There is no cash alternative and the prize is not transferable.
19. The winner agrees to take part in any publicity related to the prize draw if so required
by Scottish Widows.
20. The name of the winner can be obtained by sending a S.A.E. to: Marketing
Department, Scottish Widows Plc, 69 Morrison Street, Edinburgh EH3 8YF after
8/04/2008.
21. Scottish Widows reserves the right to amend these rules or withdraw the prize draw
at any time at its entire discretion without notice to you.
