Okay thanks we go through drills like hot meals. We have a cheapo Argos hammer and battery last about 8 holes and runs out. We got Tesco hammer corded and that lasted 1 day and binned the end kept falling off cheap and nasty drill

Thats why we want a decent hammer drill but dont want to pay mega bucks looking for a corded one as they tend to be cheaper. We have a couple of drill drivers but no good for plugs in walls

I've had this drill for a few years now, I had the same deal with the torch, This is a screwdriving drill only in my book, maybe drill a few small holes in wood if you are desperate.
Good drill though, use mine all the time and the torch.

Electric drills are always going to be better for drilling concrete unless you spend lots of money on a decent cordless.
Maybe you should consider a SDS drill is you drill lots of hard material.

I have had a Makita drill for 5 years now and has been in use daily.
Both batteries now require replacment however buying a whole new drill works out cheaper then buying replacement batteries! (especially @ this price!)
