LifeTag provides an alert when a member of crew who is wearing their personal tag falls overboard or, in case of accidents onboard, an alarm is raised by pressing and holding a button on the personal tag. A loud siren sounds the alert and because LifeTag integrates with Raymarine’s multifunction displays, chartplotters and instrument systems via SeaTalk, an MOB waypoint will also be marked. Personal tags can be fixed to lifejackets, wrists, swimwear, pet’s collar or the belt clip provided.
LifeTag system includes; a base station, 2 personal tags (additional tags can be purchased individually and the system will support up to 16 tags for larger crews) and the alarm sounder. Extra contacts for another external alarm/engine kill or other system activation are also included. Tags power on and off automatically so your LifeTag will always be ready when you need it.

AIS (Automatic Identification System – or, as we refer to it, ‘Missing you already!’):



Raymarine have just launched the AIS250 receiver module. It might look like a dull grey box but how handy would it be for you to receive the latest information on vessels in your area and have it clearly displayed on your Raymarine multifunction display?
AIS operates in the VHF maritime band and provides navigation status between vessels and shore-side traffic monitoring centres. Commercial ships, and other boats equipped with AIS transmitters broadcast messages that show the vessel’s name, position, course, speed, and navigation status. Cleverly, AIS250 can be easily fitted using your existing VHF antenna.

Polar Diagrams (Sail boats only):
