Harry Potter’s Hermione stars in Screen Adaptation of classic children’s book set for DVD release on Javuary 7th 2008
The brand new screen adaptation of Noel Streatfield’s classic novel BALLET SHOES has all the perfect ingredients for great family entertainment and now ITV DVD is making this compelling and heart-warming drama available to buy on DVD from 7th January 2008. Set in 1930’s London, this exhilarating and inspiring tale of three orphans re-unites Harry Potter favourites Emma Watson and Richard Griffiths and also stars Emilia Fox, Victoria Wood, Eileen Atkins, Lucy Cohu, Marc Warren, Yasmin Paige and Lucy Boynton. With a screenplay by Heidi Thomas (Cranford), BALLET SHOES has a strong supporting cast that includes Harriet Walter, Gemma Jones, Peter Bowles and Adrian Lester.

BALLET SHOES tells the story of orphans Pauline (Emma Watson) Petrova (Yasmin Paige) and Posy Fossil (Lucy Boynton), who are adopted by eccentric explorer ‘Gum’ - Great Uncle Matthew (Richard Griffiths), and raised as sisters by his selfless niece, Sylvia (Emilia Fox), and her nurse Nana (Victoria Wood). Each of the girls has a dream to fulfil – Pauline longs to be an actress, Petrova yearns to be an aviator and Posy seems born to be a ballerina.
But when ‘Gum’ disappears, the money runs out and the feisty, ambitious and devoted Fossils find they must fight to survive...
BALLET SHOES represents the best in family entertainment and with the DVD release can be enjoyed over and over again.
To win one of these great albums, just answer the following question correctly:
Emma Watson stars in the Harry Potter films, but what is her character called?

this site hates me - it lets me register an account and then won't send me an activation email........and when I try to sign on it tells me to 'check the activation email you where sent'

and then when I try to re-register it tells me the username is taken - yes...that'd be by me the first time I tried to register...

    aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaargh - I don't need this hassle.......
