Comet stores won't usually price-match their own website :(

Why do you want to buy it instore? Delivery is free if you order online and you have more rights under the distance selling rules. I bought a dvd online from Comet and was able to take it back (to a Comet store) for a refund within 7 days, no questions asked. Mind you, if you buy it instore, you might be able to check it for dead pixcels?

Thats actually a very nice looking monitor compared to a lot of TFT screens...... im very very temped!

Its a shame they dont do 1600x1200 like my current 19" CRT screen does though.

So do people reckon this would be suitable for games such as HalfLife 2? 12ms sounds like a decent response time.

Shame there's no DVI though :(

I just had a look at the monitor in Comet and it is not black and silver. It is dark grey and light grey.

personally i would look at this, i know it's a 17 inch but it's recommended for gamers.

12ms is good but 8 ms is even better.

higher the light intencity the better your 500:1 compared against the one i recommend is 600:1

Ziceman : Better but not convincingly so if you need screen acreage - can you really tell me those 4 milliseconds and fractional extra contrast is really worth losing that 2 inches ? Size matters ;-)
