That’s why we’ve teamed up with Costa, the UK’s largest and fastest-growing coffee shop chain, to offer one lucky reader the chance to win a complete set of the 20 books shortlisted for the 2007 Costa Book Awards. The winner will also receive a Costa coffee card with £20 credit to spend at any of Costa’s 650 UK stores. The Costa Book Awards have the single aim of celebrating the most enjoyable books of the last year by writers based in the UK and Ireland and have five categories: novel, first novel, biography, poetry and children's book. Previous winners and nominees include William Boyd, Philip Pullman, Andrea Levy, Mark Haddon and J.K. Rowling. Authors shortlisted for the 2007 Costa Book Awards include Simon Sebag Montefiore for Young Stalin, Catherine O’Flynn for What Was Lost, Meg Rosoff for What I Was and Rose Tremain for The Road Home. For more information on this year’s awards, go to https://www.costabookawards.com, and don’t forget to look out on 22nd January to find out this year’s Costa Book of the Year!
