Hi there

Apologies if this has already been posted but last night I ordered wine for the first time off Virgin wine.

I used the following code:

and got a case of wine for £30. not bad

I've used this code on only £31 worth of wine so ended paying just over £12 for 12 bottles including delivery. The wines weren't brilliant but then at that price couldn't complain.

How did you get 12 bottles for £31? I couldn't see anything under about £5 per bottle, much too expensive for the thrifty household!

HI, also got a couple of cases for £12 each using the code with a spend of ~£37 (used when they were doing 3 bottles of claret for £1) -still working our way through them. Couldn't fault the service,very prompt delivery.

Another point that may be worth noting, is when first order is completed they offer you the chance to join there premier wine club, which is free to join and they deposit £20 into your account to be used of your next purchase (within a month - I think) or at least they were doing so a few weeks ago + a wine advisor will phone you and ask what you thought of the wine, they expect you not to like all the wines you have ordered and apparently will credit your account/refund you the cost of the wine you didn't like (sorry can't remember exactly which one, and can't vouch for this as still awaiting the call).

enter " Tierra Alma White " or " tierra alma red" into the search box on virgin, 1.99 a bottle and the code dtill works for 25 pound off, nice one to OLAVS at rpoints.

Hi I have just tried the code and it wont let you order more than 3 bottles of Tierra Alma red or white, and then it tells you that you have to order a full box. When I ordered the full box it then told me that the voucher code doesn't work on reduced or promotional wines Annie

The 'Source' convention

When you post codes, each and every time please note the 'source' of these codes and the fact that they can be used by all (if they cannot be used by all, but just a closed user group ( then unless that is a large group e.g. only NHS workers, in which case state this explicity) then don't post it.

If someone has not put the source, please do not use them. You could be committing fraud. Firms are becoming more sensitive to misuse of their vouchers.

The best thing to do is question the poster over the source. If no reasoned answer is forthcoming, either ignore the post, or better still report it to the Abuse Controller.
