That's a wrap! 3 gifts wrapped for free at ASDA

As another ruse to pile extra shoppers through its doors this Christmas, Asda's offering a free gift-wrapping service in all its mega/superstores until 23 Dec, though it's only available at selected times.

Where can I get it?

First you'll have to buy some gifts from ASDA; the festive cheer is limited to wrapping things bought in its own store, and since you'll be expected to show your receipt at the wrapping counter you won't be able to smuggle in that especially awkward-shaped gift from home. Ah well.

You can have up to, but no more than 3 items wrapped, so choose wisely - don't just have them wrap your cheese because it's funny. Although it clearly is.

When?

Unfortunately, stores will only be offering this service at selected times; in-store noticeboards should tell you when. It's likely this means busy periods only, which, as any xmas supermarket vistor knows, means there's potential for rather large queues.
